This thing really tears up pretty much anything you feed it. I bought it for my mom's birthday, and she loves it! Really easy to cleanup too, the plastics shed plant material under simply water. The only thing that requires a brush was the centrifugal filter with the grinding blades at the base.

This juicer has a nice design but I found several issues with it. I think it's relatively noisy, the rubber on the bottom to keep it from slipping came off shortly after purchase but more importantly, it just doesn't do a great job, in my opinion. Large pieces of fruits/veggies seem to get 'kicked' off the blade as you push them down with the hopper and into the ring around the outside that collects the pulp without getting juiced thereby creating a lot of wasted produce and not much juice.

Okay. This is my first juicer. I read many reviews and comments about various juicers and thought this would be a great one. But it seems like the good reviews must be written by Breville employees. So, here is my meticulous assessment . . . Not very good. Okay the motor is powerful but a good juicer needs more than that. I experimented with 1 apple, 1 carrot, celery, spinach, kale, ginger. Not too much stuff. As I put things in the spout, the leafy scraps were flying out the spout. Then, although I had car

The Breville juicer is beast. It will juice a variety of vegetables and fruits in a flash. The machine is solidly built and easy to clean. You will be very pleased with this purchase.

My wife loves orange juice, and when organizing her 70th birthday party I purchased this Juice Fountain hoping to create a dramatic display in our foyer as people came into our home. While it looks like the juice shoots up from the top in the photos, instead it shoots out from a nozzle on the side, and it doesn't keep running like a fountain normally would. This is more for someone who wants a glass of juice. I returned mine. My wife is disappointed.

We have been using an Acme Supreme Juicer. We find that the pulp is drier from the Acme. Very little juice can be squeezed out by hand from the pulp of the Acme as compaired to the Juice Fountain, the pulp is very wet.
More pulp is passed through the Juice Fountain filter than the Acme disposable filter.
I find the Acme is easier to clean.

I have owned the Omega 4000 for ten (10) years. It has been exceptional. Customer service, for me, has been remarkable. After nine years of using the juicer, the bowl started to crack. It was a plastic-stainless steel fusion. When I spoke to customer service, they gave me an alternative: I could send the bowl back for them to make a new one, or I could send the whole unit in for a replacement to a newer model with a wider chute. I opted for the latter. The newer juicer -- which I've been using consi

While I believe this machine has a good motor, there are several problems that they need to correct on it.
Almost as soon as I got it, the plastic handle broke the tab that holds the juicer on. My friend got one on my
recommendation and part the plastic handle broke on hers as well. The plastic seems brittle and not the quality it should be.
The pulp ejector gets clogged frequently
It gets "off balance" occasionally which is annoying. You have to stop, clean out the basket and put it back together to get it going again.
When my friend sent her machine back to them...they sent it back again, but this time it actually had another problem that it didn't have when she sent it! Another part of the handle was broken. The customer service WAS apologetic though and did eventually make it right but it was a hassle.
What I like about it is that I think it makes juice well and the pulp that comes out seems quite dry.
I've been reading reviews on all kinds of machines and I'm not sure you can buy a fool proof juicer, just buy one with the least problems...

I used Omega 1000 for about 10 years. I make juice for about 4 people every three days. In order to ake that juice you have to stop atleast six or seven times to remove the pulp. Also juicer gets unstable if you put soft stuff. So I tried Breville pulp ejector after reading the reviews. I was shocked how poorly it works. I have to stop more times to clean it as the ejector makes it a mess. Omega pulp ejector is also a poor one. I have to stop more times than Omega 1000 and also I did not get that much juice

It is good if you are just starting out. The pulp is not as dry as I think it should be which probably means that there is juice being wasted. Motor is powerful. I haven't had any problems with hard veggies or fruits getting stuck so far.

I previously owned one of Juiceman's little juicers back in the day and decided to give this one a whirl because I missed the taste of fresh juices. The Juiceman JM 400 Juiceman Jr. is definitely more handsome than its old plastic predecessor. It looks sturdy and powerful, and it is. The first time I tried it, I made an old favourite, apple-carrot-ginger juice. I was not prepared for it. This juicer sounds as if it has a diesel engine. On high speed, I had to hold on to my juice-catcher to keep it from rattling off the counter. Before it was over, my shirt was covered with carrot innards, but the juice itself was delicious.
This is the biggest problem: cleaning. It's a pain in the bum. Even with a bag in the pulp receptacle, the pulp still gets everywhere in the juicer. The Bowl-Blade of Doom is practically impossible to de-pulp. It seems to take an eternity.
I love the fresh juice, and I love the Juiceman's recipes, but for the trouble, this thing should not have only come with his book for free. They should have sent the Juiceman himself to do the clean-up.

We are big juicers. Our main home juicer is the Greenstar 2000. We got a Juiceman 400 as our travel juicer, but it has failed 4 separate times. Three were broken parts, and this last time the engine just quit!
If you juice once a month, this might be OK, but if you really want a good juicer, that's not too expensive, we just replaced this JM400 with a CuisinArt 5 speed juicer. It's very quiet (whereas the JM400 sounds like a small jet aircraft).
Don't try to run kale into your JM400. It's

So, this is my first juicer purchase. I can't compare the Waring to other juicers, but it worked perfectly and is competitively priced.
Out of the box impressions: It was about 25% larger than I expected (picture posted to compare to single-serving Keurig coffee-maker). Assembly was easy. The directions were simple and clear, and, fortunately, provide you step-by-step instructions on use (not just assembly, disassembly, and cleaning), including how to feed common items into the machine. For what it costs, this isn't terrible, but it is VERY noisy, and the pulp still has plenty juice remaining. Cleanup isn't very difficult, except for the filter mesh.

The juicer does the job but wastes so much fruit and veggie juice. After juicing when I open the top I can squeeze the leftover pulp and there is sooo much juice in it still that didnt even get into the cup. Also large chunks of carrots and celery dont even get juiced you can see them in the pulp. This is not a good veggie juicer it seems to do better with citrus fruits. The top feeder is small so you have to cut all fruits into small pieces. Its alot of work to use this juicer!!! Also the inside bl

Works fine, although a little messy to clean up (as they all probably are). Didn't get as much juice from apples as I'd expected, but that may be due to my inexperience. No juice at all from bananas (must be mostly pulp). Overall, I'm satisfied with it, and its cost was reasonable.

After watching juicer infomercials, I did some research on Amazon and found this juicer. I figured I'd give it a try. The pulp from the fruits and veggies seemed quite wet, especially citrus fruits. I got jealous after seeing the demo for another juicer that produced much drier pulp. Hate to waste any precious juice still left in the waste bin. Love the fact that the mouth is nice and wide though. So minus two stars for wet pulp and loud motor.

I have my juice book and can't wait to start this way of life. What I don't understand is why it is taking so long to be shipped? Does it come from the interior land mass not yet named? China, maybe? Or is the juice extractor in the process of being put together? I really wanted to start using it yesterday.

Pros:
Very quiet
No chunks in the juice, ever
Cons:
Takes a long time to clean, but I look at it as if it is part of the time required to make a meal.
The biggest con is that it can become expensive to run. If you use it everyday, the cost of fruits and veggies can add up. I am in a food co-op and it makes it much cheaper however.
My tip is to cut down the pieces before putting them in the chute. I but up apples, oranges, carrots, cucumber and put it in a

I purchased this juicer cause I borrowed a friends and the drive disk that the blade screws onto had cracks in it after I used it. I could not remember if they were there before or not, so I replaced the machine. It works fine. I mainly juice carrots and apples (suppose to help with arthritis - jury still out on that). It is a little involved cleaning the product. All in all, it does a nice job.

Lilian Haeger | Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Bought this juicer expecting less waste than the other juicers (they claim 30% less) but that was not the case. There are slices and chunks of apples, carrots, even spinach coms out whole. It does not produce more juice than a $40 juicer, I had both and compared, so the amount of fruits and vegetables wasted is at least the same, not less. And they come out wet not dry as on the TV commercial. You are paying for the name, not worth the extra $.

I purchased the juicer based on information obtained in an informercial. After 3 weeks the motor died and I assumed that I would get satisfaction from the life time warranty they advertised. Upon reading the fine I discoverd it was very misleading. In order to enforce the warranty you must pack the juicer and ship it accross country at your expense. You must also include a $29.00 check with returned product and the recipient would notify you how they will proceed. In essence, this so-called life time w

This is the most awesome juicer ever! I have tried other juicers, and they do not do the job well at all. This product does exactly what it says it does. You get all of the juice from the fruit/vegetable, and there really is just dry pulp left over.
The bigger spout makes it alot easier because you don't have to cut the food so small before you put it in the spout.
This is the only juicer I would recommend to anyone.

I have had a Jack Lalanne Juicer for many years. I recently upgraded to the deluxe stainless-steel model believing that the stainless steel would be on the inside where the juice is formed and captured. I was disappointed to find out that the stainles steel was on the outside only. I do not care what the outside finish is, my concern is the material that comes in contact with the juice. .Jack Lalanne's JLSS Power Juicer Deluxe Stainless-Steel Electric Juicer

I would like to give a review on how well the machine works but because I have been dealing with the issue of actually getting a replacement part (pulp catcher) through the Power Juicer site and CSR phone line, I cannot give a review of the juicing ability, since I have hardly been able to use the machine.
