I have had this Juicer for a month now. I use it a lot. I will give the pros and cons of this product
Pros:
#1.Since it is a vertical machine it is a great space saver for limited spaces.
#2.It takes about 5 minutes to clean
Cons:
#1.You can only make about two glasses of juice before you have to clean the machine to remove all the pulp and fiber in order to make some more.
#2.It has a hard time going through beets.

I am very unhappy with my purchase. After i juice there are a lot of big chuncks of fruit or vegetables in the pulp. I have to pass it through several times to get the most juice. I got rid of the box so i dont think i was able to return it without the box.

Our first juicer, and boy are we pleased! High powered, super easy to use and clean, and very sturdy construction. We make a juice of carrots, apples, beets, and ginger quite regularly, and this beast has no problem juicing all of those dense/hard foods in seconds. I would recommend to anyone who plans to juice regularly, as you get what you pay for. The construction, sturdiness, and ease of use and clean is exactly what we were hoping for. Excellent product!

I loved this juicer when I first bought it. It was so efficient and fast. The pulp came out almost dry. We used it almost daily to juice carrots. After 6 weeks, the pulp started coming out wet with lots of chunks. It was spitting juice out the side near the pulp chute and producing a lot less juice. I think this is because the blades in the filter are already dulled. What a disappointment. It's going back to the store today.

Just purchased this juicer today and only ran about 12 carrots through it and it quit working. It just stopped. I got maybe 15 oz. of juice and that was it. I have let it cool down and it still won't work...

This is an excellent juicer for the price. It cleans up really easy. My only complaint is that the "Big Mouth" isn't really as big as it looks-you could fit a really tiny apple in-but it is so easily to cut one in half that it's no problem. It is a bit loud to operate.

I've been using this juicer practically everyday for approx. 2 months and here is my feedback:

It is good if you are just starting out. The pulp is not as dry as I think it should be which probably means that there is juice being wasted. Motor is powerful. I haven't had any problems with hard veggies or fruits getting stuck so far.

I previously owned one of Juiceman's little juicers back in the day and decided to give this one a whirl because I missed the taste of fresh juices. The Juiceman JM 400 Juiceman Jr. is definitely more handsome than its old plastic predecessor. It looks sturdy and powerful, and it is. The first time I tried it, I made an old favourite, apple-carrot-ginger juice. I was not prepared for it. This juicer sounds as if it has a diesel engine. On high speed, I had to hold on to my juice-catcher to keep it from rattling off the counter. Before it was over, my shirt was covered with carrot innards, but the juice itself was delicious.
This is the biggest problem: cleaning. It's a pain in the bum. Even with a bag in the pulp receptacle, the pulp still gets everywhere in the juicer. The Bowl-Blade of Doom is practically impossible to de-pulp. It seems to take an eternity.
I love the fresh juice, and I love the Juiceman's recipes, but for the trouble, this thing should not have only come with his book for free. They should have sent the Juiceman himself to do the clean-up.

The 1st 2 months it worked great, but the 3rd month the motor started making loud noise and a lot of shaking. So now I am stuck with a machine that doesn't work. Don't invest in it. Rather get something more durable that will last longer. I have to actually call customer service and see if they can replace it!

I have owned the Omega 4000 for ten (10) years. It has been exceptional. Customer service, for me, has been remarkable. After nine years of using the juicer, the bowl started to crack. While I believe this machine has a good motor, there are several problems that they need to correct on it.
Almost as soon as I got it, the plastic handle broke the tab that holds the juicer on. My friend got one on my
recommendation and part the plastic handle broke on hers as well. The plastic seems brittle and not the quality it should be.
The pulp ejector gets clogged frequently
It gets "off balance" occasionally which is annoying. You have to stop, clean out the basket and put it back together to get it going again.
When my friend sent her machine back to them...they sent it back again, but this time it actually had another problem that it didn't have when she sent it! Another part of the handle was broken. The customer service WAS apologetic though and did eventually make it right but it was a hassle.
What I like about it is that I think it makes juice well and the pulp that comes out seems quite dry.
I've been reading reviews on all kinds of machines and I'm not sure you can buy a fool proof juicer, just buy one with the least problems...

I used Omega 1000 for about 10 years. I make juice for about 4 people every three days. In order to ake that juice you have to stop atleast six or seven times to remove the pulp. Also juicer gets unstable if you put soft stuff. So I tried Breville pulp ejector after reading the reviews. I was shocked how poorly it works. I have to stop more times to clean it as the ejector makes it a mess. Omega pulp ejector is also a poor one. I have to stop more times than Omega 1000 and also I did not get that much juice

LOTS to like - but not love - about this juicer.
- VERY durable... good build quality.
- EASY to clean...
- Doesn't take up a lot of real estate because it's self-contained (no external pulp bin.)
All of this is trumped by one relatively serious flaw: IT DOES NOT DO A "100%" JOB OF EXTRACTING THE JUICE. The best juicers on the market produce a comparatively "dry" pulp. In other words, the juice is more juicy! But those juicers cost two-to-five times as much money.
From a PRICE or VALUE standpoint, you CANNOT find a better juicer!

My sister bought the Jack Lalanne juicer for my mother, but she did want it so she gave it to me. I had been wanting one for a long time and was happy to get it. I am not disappointed. I haven't had any problems except for having to take everything apart to clean it every time and getting some of the pulp off of the mesh screen. Other than that, it works great! It makes a lot of juice and it's sturdy. I haven't had any problem with the motor or anything else, so those who did must have bought a defective on

I have had a Jack Lalanne Juicer for many years. I recently upgraded to the deluxe stainless-steel model believing that the stainless steel would be on the inside where the juice is formed and captured. I was disappointed to find out that the stainles steel was on the outside only. I've owned this for years. It was a great investment. So many different recipes. And you can use the pulp for baking, soups, applesauce. Just endless ideas. This super removes the juice. Nice thick juice. Very durable. Cleanup is pretty easy once you get the hang of it down. Zip!

Bought this juicer expecting less waste than the other juicers (they claim 30% less) but that was not the case. There are slices and chunks of apples, carrots, even spinach coms out whole. It does not produce more juice than a $40 juicer, I had both and compared, so the amount of fruits and vegetables wasted is at least the same, not less. And they come out wet not dry as on the TV commercial. You are paying for the name, not worth the extra $.

My mom and I love the jack Lalanne juicer. We have had 3 different models and this last one is the most complete model. Does run very smoothly compared to out other juicers that weren the Pro Stainless. We have yet to do soy or rice milk with it, but I don't expect any problems.
