There must be something seriously wrong either Omega manufacturing or packaging. I received the item with a 3-4 inch crack on the left side towards the rear end of the base unit (main motor). I ordered a replacement, Amazon promptly sent a replacement, but the replacement came with similar crack at the same location. Amazon put the item under review. I thought it may something wrong with the stock that Amazon has or problem with their packaging, so I again ordered it from Amazon Marketplace (Sold by RawRefo

Excellent machine. I researched quite a while and even borrowed from friends their juicer so I could decide the right one for me. And this Omega J8006 has been perfect. It is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean up. You do need to cut up the fruit or veggies smaller than some other juicers out there but there is something about at least having some touch to the fruits of our labor as they say. I also liked knowing there is a 15 year warranty on it (not that I have needed it) but so many are very limite

I bought this juicer because it was rated so high on amazon. I watched several videos on you tube to see if the reviews and videos matched up. I couldn't believe how easy it seemed to operate. The cleaning also seemed to good to be true. Well after using it once or twice every day, I have to say it is just as great as it appeared. I love it!!!! Clean up is a breeze, and it juices great. I have made nut butter, coconut shredds and butter and lots of juice. I totally recommend this product.

Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Commercial Masticating Juicer, Black and Chrome

Being vegan, I wanted ice cream without milk. It makes ice cream from frozen fruits and so yummy. Comes out rich and creamy, just like milk ice cream but without the milk.

I wanted a juicer for wheatgrass and the Omega 8006 does the job.
It does an awesome job with leafy greens.

In the morning, I make juice from carrots, cucumbers, celery, ginger,
tomatoes (does tomatoes excellen

I don't understand how this machine works - it's just a few very simple parts, but so powerful!!!

Very good at juicing almost everything - greens, vegetables, fruit - although, it does run into a little trouble with soft items (like peaches or papaya). They tend to get clogged in it. If juicing soft items, I recommend making a mixed juice with something hard in it as well (i.e. carrots). While juicing, interchange feeding pieces of the hard items with the soft items, as the hard items will hel

I've owned a Champion juicer, a Breville centrifugal juicer, and now this Omega J8006. This is by far the most enjoyable to use, and appears quite well made. It's not quite the industrial quality of the Champion, but close. If you are looking for a low-speed masticating juicer, this is the one you want. It's very quiet, and wrings every last bit of juice out of everything you feed it. I've re-processed pulp from the Omega and gotten at most an extra few percent of the juice from the first run.
