I have had it for about 6 mo. but have not used it tons (hence it hasn't gotten the dreaded cracked basket yet) The main problem is that the pulp output spout gets clogged a lot. You need to see pulp coming out using the fill width of the output spout or else it is backing up. Definitely don't do celery or anything stringy unless you cut it in small pieces. The holes are too small in the internal parts of the output portion and the rubber plug thing is part of the bad design. When it gets too clogged u

I purchased this from another merchant and have owned it for a little less than a year. The white (fine) strainer developed stress cracks within the first 3 days of use. I was able to send just the strainer back and they sent a new one. Customer service was good. My new strainer developed cracks again within a month or so and eventually completely burst apart and took out a tooth of the little white gear. It seems to have a problem with carrots exerting too much pressure on the plastic parts. I would not re

We bought the VRT330 in May of 2010 and used it daily. For the first 6 weeks we couldn't have been happier, as was Omega and Amazon too I'm sure, because it made it past the 30 refund period. It is easy to clean, simple to assemble and the juice was great...at first. However, over time we noticed more and more pulp in our juice (we mostly juice carrots, apples, spinach, beets & occasionally kale). We attributed it to wear (all the parts are primarily plastic), and figured with the good warranty we would s

Amazing juicer that is well worth the money. It takes down all types of veggies effortlessly and squeeze the maximum amount of juice out of them. The pulp that comes out in mostly dry and putting it through a 2nd time yields only a little bit more juice.

We especially love this thing for blueberry/banana sorbet. Just drop in frozen bananas and blueberries and two difference consistencies of sorbet come out. Great for dinner parties and way healthier than ice cream or store-bought sorbet wit

For 350 bucks I want a tank I can throw off a cliff, a workhorse that I can rely on, a fine piece of machinery. This ain't it. While I do love the juicer, and I use if every single day, it has some design flaws that are pretty inexcusable in my book.

First, the strainer basket is made from weak plastic that will crack no matter how small you dice stuff. You better cut lemons and beets into small pieces or this thing will crack. I've cracked 3 of them so far so this is a fundamental flaw in mate

Qualifications as reviewer: I've only ever owned this and a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer, unless you count a blender and/or food processor. Thus my comparisons are to the Jack Lalane.

We owned a Jack LaLanne JLPJB Power Juicer Juicing Machine for years and used it maybe two dozen times. We got it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $40 on clearance and thought it would be a nice way to make our own juice blends, and it was. But it was a bulky machine that took up a lot of counter and storage space.

This is a terrific juicer. I have been juicing for over twenty years with Omegas model 1000 and it is still running great. But the 1000 is a centrifugal juicer and does not eject the pulp. I got weary of cleaning all the pulp out of the large strainer basket. Also, if I wanted to juice a large amount of produce, the strainer basket needed to be emptied in order to continue on. I wanted something easier to clean and something I did not have to empty mid-stream. The Omega VRT330 solves those problems and

Overall, a pretty good juicer but maybe not worth the high price. Here's a comparison with my old centrifugal (Mr. Juicer) model.

Pros:

Quiet! Compared to my old centrifugal juicer, it's like moving from a vacuum cleaner to a dust mop! You can actually keep listening to the radio - or to your loving, helpful spouse - while operating this thing.

Easy to feed. No need to cram vegetables in with the push stick. While it chomps down one item, I can be preparing th

I love this juicer! I did a lot of research before purchasing a juicer, including watching many youtube videos to see how they work. I realized I needed an vertical feed juicer because there was no way my arthritic hands could feed veggies into a horizontal juicer. Yes, this juicer is expensive but I am thrilled to have a juicer that I can use without hurting my hands. That makes it worth the price for me.

The quick and easy of it is the machine is a workhorse and well made. Easy to clean 10 minutes and under. The little plug on the older units could become an oversight if not careful when you clean the unit. No other issues with mine and I was one of the first people to snag one. Highly rec' for consistent easy juicing. BTW: I've owned a champion and it was a pain to clean.

This is my third juicer in the last ten years and my first upright, masticating juicer. I LOVE this juicer. It works fast (for a low speed juicer), is easy to clean and takes up little space on my counter. Everything comes out of it wonderfully...hard and soft fruits and vegetables. I use it to make lemonade which is the best I've ever made. The vegetable juices are not frothy, but clear and delicious! Well worth the high price for a solidly built, quality juicer.

I have both the breville die cast juicer and the omega vrt330. There is no material difference in either juicing or cleanup speed, except you have to cut the vegetables smaller with the vrt330. The omega juicer gets more juice from less vegetables/fruit then the breville, with much less foam, and it seems like a more concentrated drink. I tried cherries with pits and strawberries, lemon, and various green drinks in both machines. The breville cannot really handle cherries with pits or citrus fruits all that

Even after reading the reviews here and watching the discountjuicer videos about the Vert on Utube, I was nervous about how well I would like the juicer because of the price. I have a Breville centrifuge juicer, which yields a lot of wet pulp, foam, and noise in addition to the yummy juice. I didn't use the Breville very often even though the juice was good because I felt that a lot of the fruit and veg was wasted rather than juiced. I knew if the Omega lived up to the high reviews I'd get a lot of use out

I had to give it 1 star because Amazon doesn't have the option for negative stars......We have only had this juicer for a little over 4 months, and I ALREADY have to replace 3 parts of this thing after only juicing your typical fruits and veggies such as carrots, beets, berries, etc. At this point, it is basically worthless until I get another chance to sit on the phone with

I read EVERY review about EVERY juicer on Amazon.com.

Having previously owned several types of juicers, including a Champion auger style, I had definite ideas about what I wanted.

Most important - slow speed juicer (makes the most healthy juice)
Physical size - most horizontal masticating slow speed juicers are huge monsters
Ease of cleaning - wanted to be able to reach all the crevices to keep it clean
Made in the USA - we need to support one another to keep us

I love this juicer! I had been using a high speed centrifugal juicer and I didn't like the foam being produced, the fruit jumping out of the top of the juicer, the separation of the juice, and having to drink the juice within 20 minutes of juicing it. I shopped around for a different type of juicer and decided on the omega vrt based on many reviews on the internet. The juicer arrived way before the estimated delivery date, and I used it immediately. I could not be happier with this juicer! Very easy to put together, very easy to use. The juice it produces is delicious. I have experienced no foam and no separation. Easy to clean, no broken parts. I would juice the same amount of fruit that I had been juicing with the high speed centrifugal and my yield would be almost double. The pulp is much dried than the centrifugal juicer, but there is some moisture. I have nothing but positive things to say about this juicer. It is well worth the money and fun to use.

This juicer is really nice:) 1- Very quiet, you can juice at 3am without bothering any of your neighbors, you can sleep with it on and you will not even notice it running. 2- Dry pulp after juicing, so it does what it meant to do. 3 - Does not oxidizes your juice, therefore prevents loss of nutrients. 4- Clean up, well, it is a juicer, somewhat easier than traditional juicers. 5- When juicing a lots of leafy greens ( kale, celery etc.) it is better to cut them into smaller pieces, because they are very fibrous. Overall I love it, and it comes with a 10 year warranty. But remember it is quite different from traditional juicers that shred and rotate at up to 15 000 rpm, whereas Omega Vert slowly crushes, so in the result you might have a little more pulp in your juice, not too much. I am giving it 5 stars because, I would rather prefer more freshness and nutrition in my juice, even if it means at 4 am in the morning, over any other juicers out there.

I've owned this jucier for a month and have used it at least every other day. So far we have jucied carrots, spinach, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, raspberriesm pears and apples. I plan on juicing a lot a whole host of different fruits and vegatables.

After researching a lot of different juicers at various price levels this one stood for me.

Pro's

- The juice that comes out is perfect in texture and taste and does not take long at all and of course it is good for you.
- Easy to assemble and take apart.
- Very easy to clean.
- Although expensive - personally I will save moeny in the meduim term as now I do not buy packaged juices or buy juice from juicing places. Where I live a meduim carrot juice can range between $3.50 - $5.00. I can juice double the amount for a fraction of the price.
- 10 year warranty (have not used it yet)

Con's

- Expensive
- Might be slightly bulky for a small kitchen / counter top.

This is my first time writting a customer review on a product and if your budget can stretch this far I would highly recommend this juicer.
