So, this is my first juicer purchase. I can't compare the Waring to other juicers, but it worked perfectly and is competitively priced.

Out of the box impressions: It was about 25% larger than I expected (picture posted to compare to single-serving Keurig coffee-maker). Assembly was easy. The directions were simple and clear, and, fortunately, provide you step-by-step instructions on use (not just assembly, disassembly, and cleaning), including how to feed common items into the machine. This is pretty quiet. I thought the feeder would be bigger than it is. Large carrots don't even fit in it. But I don't mind too much cutting up fruit. The area where the "leftover" fruit collects is also too small for my liking. I have to empty it out pretty frequently. But definitely worth it for the price. It makes great juice.

The juicer does the job but wastes so much fruit and veggie juice. After juicing when I open the top I can squeeze the leftover pulp and there is sooo much juice in it still that didnt even get into the cup. Also large chunks of carrots and celery dont even get juiced you can see them in the pulp. This is not a good veggie juicer it seems to do better with citrus fruits. The top feeder is small so you have to cut all fruits into small pieces. Its alot of work to use this juicer!!! Also the inside bl

This is my first juicer, which I chose over other brands based on the customer reviews at this site. The juicer is easy to use and easy to clean. I've only juiced oranges. Today, I juiced 12 organic oranges resulting in 32 ounces. The juice was incredible. I opened the juicer for cleaning, expecting dried pulp but found the opposite. The pulp was full of juice. After failing to drain the juice from the pulp, I ran it back through the juicer -- four times -- resulting in another 14 ounces of juice. Having no

I was convinced to try juicing from my sister-in-law, who made me try one of her morning drinks. I was surprised to really like it! Because I was not sure that I would use a juicer on a regular basis, I bought the Waring Pro for $50. It is a "dream-machine"!!! I juice every morning and love it. Easy to clean, easy to operate and it looks nice enough to leave on the kitchen counter. BUY IT.

For what it costs, this isn't terrible, but it is VERY noisy, and the pulp still has plenty juice remaining. Cleanup isn't very difficult, except for the filter mesh.

Received my juicer and wow, what a deal! so much juice and so little wasted juice! pulp is barely moist. does a great job on carrots and apples. I was surprised how powerful the 400 watt motor is and it comes with a 5 year warranty! I purchased mine for only $44.00 new from Macys on Amazon, what a deal, I should have gotten 2! Im glad I didnt spend $350.00 or more! Why buy anything else! get one and see what I mean!

I purchased this for my wife who really likes smoothies and the such and thought she'd like a juicer. I researched what was out there and decided on this one because of price, company reputation and the reviews. I agree that a toothbrush is probably the way to go for cleaning the extractor/blade. The brush supplied works but it is small. It works exceptionally well for the price and gets used almost daily. The other reviewers are right about leafy items. They tend to be hard to juice unless harder items are

Well it's at a very low price which is good but is offset by it's negative points. After using it for a couple of times I no longer want to use it because of noise and also because it wastes some juice. So that means I bought something I can't use, -1 for me.

This juicer is poorly made, pure and simple. The pulp container is difficult to put on and take off. The lid to the pulp container does not secure completely and juice leaks down the sides. Most importantly, the juicer is started by a tiny, fragile safety knob located on the bottom of the pulp container. When this tiny, fragile part snaps off, as it inevitably will when you're fighting to disassemble the thing, the juicer will not start, and a replacement pulp container will run you a whopping $25. I find this juicer very easy to use with only a few parts to assemble/dissemble and clean. It's really easy to use. I find this better than one of the breville juicers I owned which is almost 4 times as expensive as this one. Cleaning is a breeze with this. Also, not too much fruit/vegetable wastage via pulp. In a nutshell, a simple, cheap and excellent juicer. No need to buy more expensive juicers. Just waste of money.

We purchased this juicer about 5 years ago; we had it about two years before it killed over. It does work and the price is affordable but you get what you pay for as the more often true than not saying goes. It is quite loud and you do not get much juice from it. Cleaning it was OK. We have upgraded to the Breville BJE200XL.

I received my juicer today and found it simple to use, easy to clean, and very, very good at producing delicious, healthy juice. 1 apple, 2 strawberries, 4 carrots and 2 celery stalks produced just about 24oz of perfectly extracted juice. You cannot beat this juicer for the price and quality. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable, reliable juicer.

The pulp collector does fill up quickly when juicing carrots, but as other reviewers have noted, it's a ten second process to clean out and you're back to juicing :) The stainless steel cup is nice and doesn't stain, but makes it difficult to measure, so I usually use a measuring cup.

Although I haven't had the juice extractor very long, so far it has worked fine to produce veggie juice from carrots, celery and beets.
I bought this one because I wanted the stainless steel components instead of plastic - which can leach toxic chemicals into food.
Cleaning the extractor is not especially difficult, once you figure out that you need to turn the parts to take them out.

Sometimes you have to learn the hard way.

First - this thing doesn't juice all that efficiently. Wanna find that out for real? Go buy a GOOD juicer, and use it. This thing starts looking like a massive waste of time and money the moment you try a better juicer.

Next - think this is a good price? Think again. The lid on the pulp container is stupidly designed with an easily broken protrusion on the bottom right which acts as a safety - the juicer will not turn on unless the lid is on. Of course, when that protrusion breaks, it won't turn on then either. Replacements are $12 or so, plus shipping. Note that I got mine from an Amazon Store called "Small Appliance". Don't get me started. They suck beyond all human comprehension, but at least they called me a week after I'd already bought a better product. Hey: They may not be good, but they sure are slow!

The replacements do not fit. So you get an RMA and ship the replacement back (your dime) and get another replacement...

That does not fit. How the heck did this happen? Waring only has one part like this anywhere, ever, and it doesn't fit? So I get a lot of shipping charges to return the ill-fitting cover, and by now I have spent enough to buy a better product in the first place.

TL;DR: Don't. Spend a little more. You'll be happier, it'll waste less, and it'll last longer.

LOTS to like - but not love - about this juicer.

- VERY durable... good build quality.

- EASY to clean...

- Doesn't take up a lot of real estate because it's self-contained (no external pulp bin.)

All of this is trumped by one relatively serious flaw: IT DOES NOT DO A "100%" JOB OF EXTRACTING THE JUICE. The best juicers on the market produce a comparatively "dry" pulp. In other words, the juice is more juicy! But those juicers cost two-to-five times as much money.

From a PRICE or VALUE standpoint, you CANNOT find a better juicer!

this is the second juicer I have owned. The prior juicer was white plastic and stained orange from the carrots. This juicer is stainless steel, so I won't have that problem. I love this juicer so far. I've only had it a short time but it easily juices carrots, celery and apples. And clean-up is relatively easy. The only part that takes any time is the mesh basket. You have to make sure you get all the pulp out of the tiny holes. I have found no problem using the little brush that was included with the juicer, but I have a larger, sturdier backup vegetable brush I can also use.

Assembling and disassembling the juicer is easy too. The recipe list that comes with the juicer isn't that great, but I kept the recipe book from my prior juicer, which has good recipes. Or you can always pick up a book for juicing.

The only thing that may be a deterrent for some people is the size of the pulp container, which is a lot smaller than my prior juicer. For me, it's not a problem since I am the only person in my family who uses the juicer. But if someone has a big family and makes lots of juice, you may have to empty the pulp more often. Also, since the pulp is contained within the juicer instead of in a separate, outer container, you can't put a plastic bag in it to catch the pulp and make it easier to clean. But that doesn't bother me either. It's easy enough to wipe the pulp from the container and add it to my compost pile. Or, if you're so inclined, you can use the pulp in recipes, though I haven't tried it yet.

It's been a few years since I've had a juicer and I couldn't be happier with this one. I had forgotten how good fresh juice can be. The price is great too.

I received this juicer for a Christmas gift (yes I did pick it out!). Although I've only had it a short time, I wanted to write a review praising it. I picked this one after reading all the other reviews from satisfied owners.
This Waring juicer is very easy to use, not too noisy and easy to clean afterwards. There are 3 parts to clean - the only one that takes a few minutes is the basket, which you clean with the included brush. I am concerned that little brush isn't going to last very long, but I'm sure I can find a cheap alternative-so that's not a major concern to me.
It's surprising to me how much fruit/veggies you can put in and the way smaller amount of juice that comes out. But I am satisfied that I am drinking a way healthier, truer juice than anything I could buy in a store.
I have started a compost pile with the pulp that is left behind. I just can't bear to let it go to waste. And I am sure it will compost a lot quicker than other things I throw on the pile. Part of the work has already been done. A definite win-win situation, I think.
I do recommend this juicer, especially to people who are new to juicing.

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful machine and is very easy to clean and disassemble. On the other hand, everything I juice turns into a foamy mess. I expected clear apple juice, not foamy apple juice. I'm sure it's a lovely machine if you make carrot and spinach juice and all that, but I bought it for the sole purpose of making apple juice and other fruit juices (maybe strawberry kiwi or something like that) and I don't want my juice all foamy. Plus, the directions say to drink the juice warm. I'm not a fan of warm juice. I appreciate that some people are way into the juicing lifestyle, but I just like natural fruit juice and wanted to make my own. Plus, the amount of fruit it takes for one cup of juice (half a bag of apples) is kind of ridiculous. This is my first juicer, so I have no others to compare it to, but it seemed to me there was an awful lot of pulp in the machine when I was finished, thus a ton of waste. I have no use for the pulp so it seems silly to go to all the work of juicing and buying tons of bags of apples when you can just buy it in the store. I know it's not as pure from the grocery store, but still. This machine is obviously not for me.

This unit works great but has a couple of disadvantages compared to the Breville BJE200XL:

* The funnel is much smaller. You can put whole fruit in the funnel of the Breville, but with the Waring you'll have to quarter your apples, oranges, etc.
* This doesn't extract as much juice as the Breville. I halved apples and juiced one half through the Breville and one through the Waring, matching the weight of the fruit identically. I got about 30% more juice out with the Breville (by weight).

Otherwise, the design and construction of these units is excellent.

This is my first ever Juicer. I like it. It's easy to use and very easy to clean. It comes appart easilly and after a quick rinse in the sink it goes right into the dishwasher where it cleans up quickly for the next use. Putting it back together is easy as well. It also looks nice on my counter top when waiting for it's next use. So far I have experimented with Honey Dew mellons, Pine Apples and Kiwis. The juice is good, not overly sweet like store bought juices. Also I have learned that Pine Apple/Honey Dew juice goes great with Vodka. My friends are loving it.

I labored to get as many reviews read as possible when I decided to get a juicer. I knew that I did not want to go high end for my first juicer, because I did not know if I would get into the 'Juicing Lifestyle'. Therefore the the really expensive ones were out of the question. When it came to the lower end models, this one caught my eye due to it's high ratings, and it has definitely delivered. What someone purchasing one of these models HAS to remember is that it is a lower end juicer, and although it does an excellent job, it is what it is. No, it will not give you perfectly dry pulp, and yes, you do have to cut your larger fruit up to get it down the tube, no, it doesn't have silent operation, but if someone was spinning me at that RPM, I don't think that I'd be quiet either! Sometimes the seal at the bottom of the juice catcher leaks a few drops. If you are so hard up for money that 3 extra apples is going to upset you, then you need to wait until your situation changes to get into this.

All that being said, for the money, it's excellent, and it's a great starter juicer. I would definitely recommend this juicer to any of my friends that are looking to start juicing but haven't made a decision about it yet.

I purchased the Breville Juicer a few years ago and ended giving it to a good friend (big mistake). So the other day I dashed out and purchased this. For the money it does what it should. HOWEVER..there is aalot of foam left in the finished product and alot of wet pulp is left behind in the machine. With the Breville the pulp is very dry and there is minimal foam....and clean up is easy peasy.

I plan to take it back and just purchase either another Breville or Omega as I plan to continue juicing for a more healthy lifestyle. I don't believe you have to go completely raw or vegan or even vegetarian to reap the benefits of juicing. Just cut back on the take aways and junk food and incorporate juicing and you'll be amazed at how wonderful you look and feel.

It takes years off of you, inside and out.

This juicer is not perfect but does the job.
The Pros: fast juicing, easy assembly, easy cleanup, the juicer disassembles quickly and you don't have to put the whole juicer into the sink as some of the reviews mention. just read the instructions on how to take it apart.
The cons: The juice splashes some while flowing into the cup. Nothing major, but it is a bit annoying. The way the pulp is collected makes it difficult to re-juice the pulp. It doesn't just everything completely. I keep finding big chunks of fruit or veggies unjuiced, even after putting it through the juicer again.
I was expecting something better but for now this one will do.

I've had this juicer for about two years now. It was ok in the beginning. I thought the pulp was pretty wet, so I didn't feel like I was getting everything my overpriced organic veggies had to offer... but since it was cheap and I wasn't sure how "into" juicing I was, it worked.

Now that I'm juicing 3 times a day, this machine isn't sufficient.

After having it for a while, it has become so hard to open now after juicing. I literally cannot remove the pulp collector assembly without struggling for 5 minutes.

The juicer splatters a lot, so I starting making a shield over the juicer cup with foil.

If you're looking for a good entry level juicer, go for a Lequip. There are several available for less than $100. You can see demos at [..]

I cannot recommend this juicer. After struggling with it for a long time-- and now it's broken--I'm getting an Omega VRT330.
